Grand Opening of Havillah Group of Schools.

The journey of a thousand miles begin with a step. This I see here is not just a step but a giant leap towards success. And it is without any shadow of doubt that I say this, there is more to come.
Those were the exact words of Rev. George Olawale Adegboye, the General Overseer of Rhema Chapel who was present at the Grand opening of Havillah Group of Schools which took place on Saturday 30th March, 2019 at the school premises.

The Christian cleric stressed that for an individual to become an indispensable and useful developmental tool in the society, such a person needs to possess a solid foundation formed from a good education and morality.
He further beseeched that the school ensure that it does not fall short of the basic ingredients needed “to groom the child for the future,” this he said is clearly stated as the school’s motto.
The proprietress of Havillah Group of Schools, Mrs. Oluwayemisi Joyce Agege in her welcoming speech, disclosed that one of the rear features that class the school from other citadels of learning is the presence of a creative and entrepreneurship centre.

Mrs. Agege, who was accompanied by her husband, Mr. Paris Agege, CEO Illumination Guards for the Grand Opening emphasized that the creative centre in all its glory consist of a fashion designing section, an hairdressing salon, music and art gallery, culinary section and a fully functional computer laboratory.
The proprietress further explained that apart from grooming the child for the future, the school aims to bring a bright and blissful future closer to the child. Reiterating that the college arm will someday produce a world-class College of Education.
The guest speaker, Prof. Alfred Adegoke, a guidance and counselling professor who doubled as the supervisor of the highly esteemed proprietress while as an undergraduate in the University of Ilorin, hinged his speech on the college motto, “the future begins with us,” stating that the future leaders of tomorrow needs to have their foundation built on a solid rock. Buttressing that, this solid rock is composed of moral uprightness and a good education, and that it is a good thing Havillah Group of Schools is in place to facilitate this.
Also in attendance was the vice-chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Prof. Abdulrasheed Na’ala with his delegates the Olokuku of Okuku Land, HRH Samuel Abioye Oyebode Oluronke the 2nd, Prof. Abdulwahab Egbewole (SAN) and many other crème de la crème in society.
